Dr. Matthew DaCunha is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon with a passion for providing individualized, high-quality care to patients of all ages. He specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, and also treats other disorders of the skin. Dr. DaCunha’s formal education and training include:

- University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine (Kansas City, MO) – Internal Medicine Internship

- The Skin Cancer Center of Cincinnati/TriHealth (Cincinnati, OH) – Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship
During his training, Dr. DaCunha was awarded several research grants, scholarships, and awards, and contributed to several national publications and presentations. He has been involved in many unique projects, including the creation of The Melanoma Reporting Model to improve the process of reporting and gathering data on melanoma skin cancers. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).
In his spare time, Dr. DaCunha enjoys running, biking, swimming, disc golf, weightlifting, attending concerts, KC barbeque, and spending time with his wife and two dachshunds.
